About Us

The CGA Tour is a competitive golf league originally founded in 2022 by a group of four friends who now serve as the exclusive Board of Directors. What began tucked away in a quiet corner of Connecticut near Candlewood Lake as a friendly but competitive outlet has since evolved into a structured and fast-growing organization.

Built on a foundation of camaraderie, integrity, and competitive spirit, the CGA Tour blends the tradition of the game with a modern, player-driven approach. From its humble beginnings, the CGA Tour has expanded across the East Coast and now features 16 active members residing in 6 different states. As its footprint grows, so does the level of competition and prestige associated with each event.

The CGA Tour hosts a seasonal schedule of single round tournaments, both in-person and virtual using the 18Birdies golf app, complete with official handicaps, net scoring, rankings, and a points-based system that culminates in an annual CGA Tour Championship playoff bracket. Each event showcases not only individual talent but also the deep rivalries and friendships that define the league’s culture.

With a clear vision for continued expansion, the CGA Tour remains committed to elevating the competitive golf experience while preserving the authenticity and brotherhood that sparked its creation. What started as four friends chasing bragging rights has become a multi-state competitive league — and the journey is just getting started.
