Introducing CGA Teams – Debuting in 2026
The CGA Tour is adding a new layer of competition with CGA Teams, giving players the chance to compete not just individually, but as part of a squad throughout the season. Designed to spark camaraderie and rivalries, CGA Teams will run alongside the five Regular Virtual Events of the CGA Tour season: THE PRIMETIME Championship, Mobil Classic, The Icons Invitational, The Slice, and The Chatterton Championship.
Each season will feature four teams of four players, drafted in a snake format during the kickoff call. Team captains will be the top four finishers from the previous year’s individual CGA Tour Championship.
For each event, a team’s top three net scores will be combined to form its total team score. A separate teams leaderboard will track each squad’s progress throughout the season, using a distinct points system from the individual leaderboard.
At the end of the regular season, the top three teams will qualify for the CGA Teams Championship, with the first-place team earning a first-round bye. CGA Teams gives our players the chance to compete, strategize, and chase glory together.

Draft Results:
1.1 Kyle Monroe (Putt Stuff)
1.2 Christian Benzing (The Sandbag IV)
1.3 Reed Oettinger (The Fore Fathers)
1.4 AJ Pearl (Ballz Deep)
2.1 Jake Cleary (Ballz Deep)
2.2 Colin Ford (The Fore Fathers)
2.3 Brandon Bahr (The Sandbag IV)
2.4 Nate Peacock (Putt Stuff)
3.1 Mike Remley (Putt Stuff)
3.2 Marc Dispenza (The Sandbag IV)
3.3 Casey Rutkey (The Fore Fathers)
3.4 Matt Palardy (Ballz Deep)
Draft Grades:
Ballz Deep (Noah Alviti): A-
Alviti gives this team the highest floor in the league, and grabbing Palardy late was a steal based on proven win ability. The only question is upside—Pearl and Cleary feel more like grinders than true difference-makers, so this team will contend every event but may need someone besides Alviti to spike.
The Fore Fathers (Jackson Lathrop): A
This is the most balanced and dangerous roster top to bottom. Oettinger at 1.3 is elite value, and pairing him with Lathrop gives them two guys who can win any event—if even one of the bottom pieces overperforms, this team becomes the favorite every week.
The Sandbag IV (Ryan Grimaldi): B+
The top of this roster is loaded—Grimaldi, Benzing, and Bahr is arguably the best trio in the league. The issue is Dispenza at the bottom, which introduces real risk and lowers the weekly floor compared to other teams.
Putt Stuff (Sean McKenzie): B
This team is the definition of boom or bust. Monroe at 1.1 is a bold swing with huge upside, but stacking rookies (Monroe, Peacock, Remley) creates volatility—this team could either look genius or completely collapse depending on how fast those guys adjust.
