“Setting The Tone” - Ryan Grimaldi To Tee Off First

Posted: 4/1/2026

All eyes are on one man to crack the seal on the 2026 season.

Ryan Grimaldi is officially on the clock.

Friday, April 3rd. 12:40 PM. Rocky River Golf Club.

While the rest of the field has spent the opening stretch of THE PRIMETIME Championship circling dates, posting practice rounds, and feeling things out… Grimaldi is stepping up first when it actually counts.

And make no mistake — this isn’t just another round.

This is the round.

The first tournament score of the 2026 CGA Tour season.

The number that hits the board and instantly becomes the benchmark. The tone-setter. The one everybody else will be chasing — or trying to avoid.

There’s pressure in going low late.
There’s pressure in holding a lead.

But there’s a different kind of pressure in going first.

No data.
No leaderboard context.
No safety net.

Just you, the course, and a number that’s going to sit there for weeks.

Grimaldi has the opportunity to do one of two things:

Set the bar high and make the entire field uncomfortable,
or leave the door wide open and invite chaos.

Either way, the 2026 season starts with him.
